Kingdom Builders Program
At Urban Story one of our objectives is to raise up indigenous leaders in the community. We believe God is in the business of raising up disciples who can build the Kingdom of God. Jesus' commission to the church is in Matthew 28:19-20 where he says, "Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” We put local church members in position to be spiritual fathers and mothers to Urban Story Family in the program, raising them up to be who God has called them to be. Story changers
Speak Life
Every week Urban Story sends out local church members from various churches into our neighborhoods to speak life. We believe that when we speak life we can change families, neighborhoods, and cities. Every volunteer apart of Story Changers is a "Story Changer". When our volunteer leaders speak life through scripture cards, words of prophecy, and exhortation we believe that makes a difference in the lives of Urban Story Family. Proverbs 18:21 says, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: And they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." FIRE STARTERS
IGNITING PURPOSE
At Fire Starters our vision is to start a revival fire that spreads throughout the world by igniting believers to rise to the calling God has placed within them. We do this by equipping local churches in the supernatural and building up leaders who can effect change in their sphere of influence. When Christians join Fire Starter program they are not only activated in their purpose, but become a person who starts revival fire wherever they go. Our hope is to activate the Body of Christ so that they can be used by God in powerful ways every day whether at work, at home, or in the church.
