The Discipleship Academy is a 36-week program designed to help students build a strong foundation in God’s Word, grow in their relationship with Him, and develop into confident, Christ-centered leaders. Students must be invited to participate, with selection based on specific neighborhoods to ensure consistent community impact and relational discipleship within each area. Through teaching, mentorship, and hands-on experiences, students learn how to pray, hear God’s voice, and live out their faith in everyday life. Participants take meaningful steps such as baptism, experience new environments that expand their perspective, and are equipped to share the Gospel and their personal testimony, with the goal of leading others to Christ and making a lasting impact in their communities.

Urban Story Outreach is a weekly, neighborhood-based ministry serving 19 identified communities impacted by significant violent crime. Every Saturday, teams go directly into these neighborhoods to build consistent relationships, share the Gospel, and meet youth and families where they are with the love and hope of Jesus Christ. During outreach, teams engage in a variety of relational activities designed to build trust, create connection, and open doors for discipleship, while Discipleship Academy graduates serve as emerging leaders and mentors, stepping into their next level of ministry development by discipling and walking alongside new students and youth. The goal is to see first-time decisions for Christ, identify and invite new students into the Discipleship Academy, and connect youth to ongoing community and youth group engagement, creating a continuous pipeline of spiritual growth and leadership development in each neighborhood.

At Fire Starters our vision is to start a revival fire that spreads throughout the world by igniting believers to rise to the calling God has placed within them. We do this by equipping local churches in the supernatural and building up leaders who can effect change in their sphere of influence. When Christians join Fire Starter program they are not only activated in their purpose, but become a person who starts revival fire wherever they go. Our hope is to activate the Body of Christ so that they can be used by God in powerful ways every day whether at work, at home, or in the church.

Church Access Program is a transportation and partnership initiative designed to make consistent church engagement accessible for Discipleship Academy students and graduates. In partnership with local youth groups, including People’s Church, Urban Story provides weekly rides to church services and youth gatherings, ensuring students have reliable access to healthy, ongoing spiritual community beyond outreach and classroom environments. This program strengthens long-term discipleship by connecting students to the local church, reinforcing spiritual growth, and helping them remain rooted in faith as they develop into leaders within their communities.
